Hygienically Clean Certification
Hygienically Clean certifications recognize linen, uniform and facility services companies’ commitment to cleanliness through facility audits, validation of processes and third-party, quantified microbiological testing.
The certification process verifies processes used in these facilities meet appropriate hygienically clean standards and best management practices (BMPs) across all laundry customer market segments.
Businesses who are highly conscientious about the sanitation of the products that they use, need to be confident that laundry facilities they use do not contribute to human illness. Hygienically Clean certification helps achieve this objective by ensuring textile products laundered for businesses meet key disinfection criteria. Items are washed, dried, ironed and packed using techniques to produce laundry that meets Hygienically Clean’s cleanliness specifications.
To maintain certification, microbiological testing is required quarterly and facilities are audited every three years.
Hygienically Clean certified plants are committed to cleanliness through facility audits, validation of processes and third-party, quantified microbiological testing. Are the textiles you use Hygienically Clean certified? Ask your provider.
